Superman Sucks is the story of, well, Superman on his knees, doing what many gay guys dream he would be doing.  Supposedly, he was weakened into submission by Lex Luthor’s using of some Kryptonite, making him compliant you can do anything on him – and, eventually, when he got used to it, making him want to just do it because he wanted doing it.  It’s a blast (in more ways than one, HA HA!) reading about the Man of Steel giving not just Lex a head, and loving it – some form of debasing every heterosexual’s idea of the perfect men).

This isn’t the only narrative in Nifty Archive, of course – take your pick, from Batman doing it with Robin, to the men of Troy going at it (dumping Helen), to Tarzan’s gargantuan organ getting suctioned, et cetera.  It certainly covers everything, since it has, for gay male category alone, stories on adult friends, adults and their relationships with youths, athletic stories, BDSM, first loves, first sexual experiences, camping, and celebrity fantasies.

There are also college stories, high school experiences, interracial, historical narratives, masturbation, military, continuing relationships, rural settings, science fiction, urination, young friends, and, interestingly, asexual relationships.  Anything and everything, definitely.

Nifty Archive, of course, isn’t limited to gays – it also has general links to: bestiality, bisexuality, transsexual/transgender, lesbianism, and general erotic and educational information.  Again, all grounds covered.

According to its Web site, Nifty Archive “started as a personal archive of both pictures and stories made available to the public via anonymous FTP at CMU by student and, later, staff member Chris.  The same system also hosted the original Queer Resources Directory (QRD) developed by Ron Buckmire.  Chris focussed most of his attention on the pictures sections leaving the stories somewhat in disarray and languishing.  The current archive maintainer, David, approached Chris and volunteered to help maintain the stories section. This began the great categorization process in March 1993, which included merging in all of the uploaded but not yet filed stories.”  There have been problems, including copyright infringement, concerns with excessive CPU load on the system and bandwidth load on CMU, hacking, and the US Communication Decency Act that forced it to look for adult verification methods, among others.  By April 2000, when the Nifty Archive Alliance was formally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization, Nifty Archive was finally officially an avenue to source everything erotic.

A big limitation of Nifty Archive is it’s being text-based.  Don’t expect even drawing of Superman on his knees.  But this is what the imagination’s for, isn’t it?  For the readers to imagine how they want Superman to do the sucking – and to whom, too.
This makes Nifty Archive a hark back to the olden times, when not everything was graphical – you had to read it, and make that graphical interpretation in your head.  Everything wasn’t spoonfed then, yet nobody complained.  Nobody will, too, with Nifty Archive.

And since the site is open – i.e. its contents are from contributing authors from all over the world – you bet you can get contextualized stories (e.g. Pinoys going at it).   This makes it, well, relevant to its readers, wherever they may be.  And isn’t that the whole point of reading?

The writer of Superman Sucks hasn’t helped Superman get up yet – he’s still mostly on his knees years and years after the first story was written about him sucking (he was cherry popped, too, with the help of some Kryptonite us his ass).  Whatever the development is, makes visiting Nifty Archive appealing.  So see you there!
